Remember the saying "April showers brings May flowers", well, I don't know about you but May around here is busier than Christmas and this year seems extremely busy. We just passed the 1st Sunday in May and Easter was the week before and now...THIS SUNDAY IS MOTHER'S DAY!
The little ones in our station 13 will have a special Mother's Day craft. It is a sweet time especially for many of our moms who will celebrate Mother's Day as a first time MOM. Precious times...Baby Dedication is scheduled for this Sunday also.
Our new monthly curriculum in Station 13 is:
"People at Church Help Me"
"Jesus helped his friends" (see John 13:2-5)
"God gives me people to help me" (see 1 Corinthians 12:28)
Our Station 13 babies are growing so another mini-promo is planned for Sunday, May 15th. Signs and cards will share information for the parents of our promoting children.
Sunday May 15th is also Leadership Sunday...VBS Training will be our focus. Prep, Pizza and Fun! If you are a Sunday school teacher or coordinator, you are invited to train to teach AM or PM VBS. Questions, call me!
Sunday, May 22nd should be a regular Sunday, WHEW! It will lead us into fifth Sunday...really?
Sunday, May 29th is 5th Sunday! We will need all SS teachers to plan for double shifts and all imprinters that are willing to help an extra Sunday would be greatly appreciated.
OK, I am tired and I didn't mention that Kim, Melanie, Jo Cherie and I all have seniors graduating in May....
Bouquets of Busyness in May.
