Jesus Loves Me

The end of February is approaching fast.  Hasn't the sunshine been a wonderful gift? 
In March, our little ones in Station 13 will be learning:
"Jesus Loves Me" Luke 19: 1-6 
The story of Zacchaeus is such fun for preschoolers. 

March 6th is "Everybody's Here" day at FBCW.  Teachers are encouraged to call those little ones that have been missing from their classes.

March 13th will begin "daylight savings time" and we will spring forward and move our clocks up one hour.

March 20th is Sunday School Leadership.  More information will follow.  Thanks to the Crates for making their delicious Lebanese treats for us.  More surprising treats are in store for our March meeting.

My heart is heavy for many of our station 13 friends.  Please join me in praying for these sweet folks.

VBS 2011 will be June 27th-July 1st.  Mark your calendars and get plugged in.  Volunteers can begin signing up with me NOW!  Our theme this year is Big Apple Adventure: Where Faith and Life Connect (Romans 10:17)

Training dates will be announced soon.  My VBS coordinators this year are Samantha Moloney and Heather Smith.  It's going to be fun!

Teaching an Old Dog New Tricks

I will begin my first ever blog by telling you that I am way out of my comfort zone!  I currently don't do the social networking, don't have an iphone, ipad, iwhatever.  I do, however, love the LORD, our church, its people and our babies.  I get to practice "grandmotherhood" every Sunday morning!  I also get to work with amazing volunteers who love teaching little ones that Sunday school is a place where they will be loved and cared for and that MOMMY will come back!

I am looking forward to stepping out into this strange, new world.

This Sunday, February 13th, we will promote a few of our growing little ones to new rooms.  Many are now "on the move" and we want to give them the opportunity to thrive.  As they develop, we develop!
