Dogwoods bring me joy! Spring is a wonderful time of revival, rebirth and renewal. I have a special gift in my backyard with one of my dogwood trees that is shaded and thus is a late bloomer. This gift allows me to enjoy my dogwood blooms longer because about the time the other trees lose their blooms to green this tree is emerging as beautiful.
In much the same way, our Preschoolers in station 13 develop at their own pace. Some start crawling, walking, talking before others. Each stage is a gift from our Lord to be savored in the moment not rushed along or worried over. Just as spring's blooms give way to summer's green, our babies are developing into the person God has brought them to be. We need to enjoy every moment of every stage in their development and thank our LORD for allowing us this brief part in their lives for this moment of time.
April is well underway! In Sunday school, our little ones are learning:
"God Makes Growing Things"
God made the world. God made everything. (Genesis 1)
April 17th SS Leadership meeting will include a ice cream sundaes. We are in breakouts together as a teaching team for station 13.
April 24th is EASTER SUNDAY. We will have Preschool Sunday School at 9AM and at 11AM. Teachers, Imprinters and other volunteers, there will be Potter's Place for our Elementary age children of Preschool volunteers. 9AM volunteers are asked to arrive at 8AM. 11AM volunteers are asked to arrive at 10:15. Plan now to serve Easter Sunday and see all the beautiful children in their gorgeous Easter outfits, talk about the colors of creation! How sweet!
It is a blessing each Sunday to serve with so many of our Preschool Parents! Thank you for helping make church a fun place for our little ones!
"A house is built by wisdom, and it is established by understanding; by knowledge the rooms are filled with every precious and beautiful treasure." Proverbs 24:3-4
